Is everything included, do I need to purchase anything else?
Everything is included to work out of the box. If your business router is not located within the 6 feet of the needed printer location a longer Ethernet cable will need to be ran and installed for you. Please work with your reseller to determine your needs or contact us and we can arrange an installer to pull your cable.
How much time does it take to setup the system?
The entire Quantum POS bundle is shipped to your business location. We coordinate a welcome call and schedule a time to walk you through the step by step process. A typical business can be up and running their first transactions within a 30 minute phone call. Most of the Quantum POS resellers are industry experts and can provide on site assistance.
How hard is it to set up my menu?
Quantum POS will build your first layer menu and / or upload your inventory items before we ship your POS system to you. Additional modifiers will need to be built by you or your reseller to include additional items such as topping on a cheeseburger.
Can I import new inventory?
Yes Quantum will provide a training session on how to increase re-orders items to reflect in your inventory as well as how to add new inventory items and readable with the bar code scanner.
Can I create customer accounts?
Yes, you can create new customer profiles at initial order or at time of check out. Once a customer is in the Quantum POS system, you can look up their order history, repeat previous orders and refund or discount their purchases.
Is my sales information safe?
Yes, all your customer sales information is stored in a safe and secure datacenter under PCI standards.
My business is growing, can I add equipment?
Yes at any time we can add new Printer, Complete Register bundle or even add a single iPad for table ordering or line-busting sales.
I have a second location or thinking about opening up a new store, does this work together?
Yes! Quantum POS is setup to manage all your registers and multi-location from a single back office login. You can assign inventory to each location and know where and what items you will need to keep.
Can I save a sale or open a tab?
Yes, Quantum POS will allow you to save a pending sale transaction or open a tab until a customer is ready to pay, while allowing your business to run more transactions until that saved ticket is closed.
What if something breaks, how do I get it fixed?
Quantum POS has a “Spare-In-The-Air” program. Simply give our live 24/7 support a call and we’ll trouble shoot the issue. If we determine that there is hardware failure a new replacement will be shipped over night to you, keeping your business running.
What if I don’t’ understand how the Point Of Sale software works?

I have thousands of inventory SKU’s, can I get them all in?
Without a doubt, yes. Even before your Quantum POS is delivered we’ll request your inventory and pre load your UPC or SKU’s so that once delivered, you can start scanning your sales at checkout.
I have sales staff that work on commissions, will this track sales?
Yes, the Quantum POS will track every sold item to a logged in user. Complete reporting per item, by day part, time or location can be exported for payroll adjustments. Quantum POS can also show you which of your staff are performing best during what shift, days or items.
